Just walking the dogs before it gets to hot and noticed the damaged light near playground. I have tried reporting online, but in the end emailed Trefor Hogg. Also great to see a lot of the damaged Virgin boxes I have previously reported have been fixed. Have a great rest of the weekend. If there is anything that needs reporting please email me on Shaun.garrett@surreyheath.gov.uk. See MoreSee Less

I am sure anyone who regularly follows my posts may have noticed that I am a big fan of the arts, theatre, and musical theatre. Before I became a Councillor, I was involved with Starburst for a number of years. As well as treading the boards and singing, I also produced several musicals over the years. I was lucky enough to play roles such as the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, the Undertaker in Oliver!, and Rooster in Annie.Starburst is bringing Everybody’s Talking About Jamie to Camberley Theatre from the 25th to the 27th of June. I have just bought our tickets, and we are really looking forward to the show!It is also worth mentioning that proceeds from their shows go to help support children with special needs.Who knows, come March 31st next year when I am no longer a Borough Councillor, I might consider treading the boards again!www.camberleytheatre.co.uk/events/starburst-JamieStarburst Foundation Camberley Theatre See MoreSee Less

Whilst travelling back from the litter pick yesterday afternoon, I noticed that one of the Virgin boxes I have reported multiple times has finally had a new cover fitted. It has taken over two years to get this sorted, which just goes to show that persistence really does pay off!I have always believed that to truly represent a community, you actually need to live in it. Living right here in the ward means I see these issues firsthand during my daily routine and can report them immediately, rather than just looking in from the outside. That being said, I am sure there will still be things I miss. Please do contact me with any local issues, concerns, or problems by emailing shaun.garrett@surreyheath.gov.uk. See MoreSee Less
